APTIMISE AND IDEATION INTERNATIONAL CREATE A DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION ALLIANCE

Zion Bar-El, CEO of Ideation International of Farmington Hills, MI and Dan Templeton, President of Aptimise of Fort Wayne, Indiana announced that the two firms will form an alliance to expand the development and use of Ideation International’s I-TRIZTM methods, including the I-TRIZSoftTM software, for creating disruptive products and services. Aptimise will provide contract commercialization services for product concepts arising from the I-TRIZ methods. The contract services are available local, regional, and international businesses. Aptimise will also be developing its own product and service portfolio to be manufactured and distributed by Aptimise-related firms beginning in the second quarter of 2008.

Aptimise will also provide and develop additional educational services for the I-TRIZ problem solving systems. Aptimise will become the primary agent for marketing and distribution outlet for the Ideation International products. The new educational products and services are scheduled to begin market introduction during the second half of 2008.

Disruptive products and services are considered the next generation products which change the whole landscape of products and services available. I-TRIZ accelerates the identification of these disrupters using three steps:
inventive problem solving, anticipatory failure determination, directed evolution, and intellectual property (patent) generation.
